The white kernels are heated in a sand-filled pan to make them pop, like popcorn.

Sieving separates the popped kernels from un popped ones and any remaining sand.

Winnowing removes husks, sand, and impurities.

Some nuts are polished for a better appearance.

✅ Grading & Sorting

Nuts are graded by size, with larger ones fetching higher prices.

Quality sorting separates damaged or dis coloured kernels.

✅ Packaging

Nuts are weighed and packed to maintain freshness.

Packages are sealed and labeled with product details.

✅ Storage & Distribution

Packed fox nuts are stored in a cool, dry place.

They are distributed to retailers and markets for sale.
